Site Recorder 4 was developed from the
original 3H product called Site Surveyor. Site
Surveyor was developed to overcome some of the problems
found when surveying during archaeological fieldwork;
simple yet survey quality processing programs were unknown
at that point. Site Surveyor was completed during
work on the Resurgam
submarine in 1997. The complexity of site recording
during the excavation of the Dutch East Indiaman Vliegent
Hart in 2000 showed that there was a need for a single
program that was capable of capturing all of the
information about a site. Site Recorder 3 was
developed to fulfil that need and was used on a number of
major projects including the Mary Rose excavations in 2003
- 2005. Site Recorder 4 is the next generation in
this family of programs.

Sponsorship
|
|
Because of the nature of the business we do get a lot of
requests to provide sponsorship for projects. We consider all
requests but look more favourably on those that provide benefits to the
company. The sponsorship is usually in the form of a loan of
software keys for a defined period. In return, communications from the project must have
the 3H logo and company name displayed in the list of sponsors and copies
of any published reports about the project should be sent to us. For
further information, please contact us:
